A plant-based smoothie sweetened with our fudgy Medjoul dates and flavoured with cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom. A delicious and nutritious treat for you.
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- 2 tablespoon almond butter, tahini or a nut butter of your choice
- 1 cup of plant milk
- 5 Zaytoun Medjoul dates, chopped
- 1 small banana, sliced
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon toasted almond or coconut flakes
Place all the ingredients except the almond/coconut flakes in a food processor and blend on high speed until smooth, for about 1-2 minutes. Serve in glasses and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and toasted almond/coconut flakes. Drink immediately.
