Catch up on our live Zoom to the olive harvest

October 15, 2021

The olive harvest in Palestine brings family and friends together to pick olives and to picnic together under the trees. It’s a truly special time of year; the groves buzz with activity and the aroma of freshly pressed olive oil lingers in the air. We were sad to miss it for the second year in a row.

So, we continued with our popular series of harvest Zooms and went live to the olive groves in early November to meet producer, Mohammed Hamada, and Mohammed Ruzzi from the Palestine Fair Trade Association.

Hosted by Heather Masoud, Zaytoun co-founder, in the UK and Taysir Arbasi, advocacy and liaison manager in Palestine, it was a joy to be virtually in olive groves and find out about this year’s harvest. If you missed it, you can catch up now.
